[GNC] Lost all settings after Flatpak update

Hi Ken,

Thanks for bringing this up. I experienced the same thing on Fedora 33 but didn't take the time to ask about it.
The welcome screen and tips displayed again and I had to re-enter my preferences for register display, etc. I remember thinking this was odd, which leads me to believe it hasn't happened with prior Flatpak updates. Would be curious to hear more about what might have happened.
