[GNC] Pdf Export Problems

The error you received does not sound like a pdf or GNU-cash issue. It
sounds like a WINDOWS or browser error. So let's try just one more thing
(and hopefully this does it):

Run your report in GNU-Cash
Do print (instead of export)
Choose MS Print to PDF
Save the file.

Now just to be safe - let's close GNU-Cash so that your computer does not
think that GNU-Cash still has it "clamps" on it.
Find the file that you saved (probably in My documents).
Double click and see if Adobe opens it open now.

Let us know if that does the trick.

Hi Ken,

I did try what you suggested, but unfortunately for me it did not work.
It produced an error saying,........... This file is already open or in use
by another application.

I did however open the saved Exported Pdf file in Premier Elements Pro, but
it did create quite a few errors with the headings, which took over an hour
to resolve.

Gareth

Gareth -- I am on GC 4.5 with Windows 10. Instead of export to pdf try
print and chose Microsoft print to pdf. Save with the name you want and the
resulting file opens fine in pdf. At least it does for me. Give it a try
and let of us know if this is a good work around for you.

Hi,

If I create a Transaction Report and export it to Pdf.

When I try and open it in Adobe Acrobat DC Reader, it will not do it and
gives an error code of 135.

Does anyone have an idea of what the problem is, as it hasn't happened
before?

GC 4.5 Windows 10

Cheers,

Gareth
