[GNC] Balance Sheet and Win Loose Statement

Hello,

is there a way with python to ask Gnucash (MySql) for the values of 
Balance Sheet and Win Loose Statement? 

I had take a look on github but be not sure what is right, most
of the scripts use xml file of GnuCash.
