[GNC] Transactions imported from the file assigned to wrong account

Yes, that does sound like a bug. Please file a bug report at https://bugs.gnucash.org. You can easily cite this thread with https://code.gnucash.org/pipermail/gnucash-user/2021-June/096929.html
