[GNC] New flatpak version 4.7+ crashes in my Ubuntu 20.04 - any help?

I have been using the Flatpak 4.7 on Linux Mint 19.3 for some time
without problem.  But this morning it will not open, even if I click on
the current file name.  It begins to open and then crashes.  I have
tried this on 2 different Laptops running the same os. and both crash.
Does this have to do with the new version of GC?

Thanks,

Les
