[GNC] Copy/Paste Transaction Issue

I think the issue really boils down to "what exactly is getting copied and pasted?"

I don't know the specifics, but as far as I understand it, a transaction in GnuCash looks unitary to the end user, but actually consists of a strange hybrid: a Transaction entry with (at least) two subsidiary splits. Each element has its own interconnected data that may or may not make sense when moved into another account. What happens when you change the context of a transaction will be unpredictable.
