[GNC] gnucash complaining about libdbi version

Joost,

My Friday post included a link to the bug report. You can comment there if you have anything useful to add. "Me too" isn't useful. Ability to dig into MariaDB's behavior to figure out what's going on and explaining it would be.

At this point we don't know if support for MariaDB 11 is even possible: One of the participants in the bug report used the latest version of MariaDB connector and it still tells libdi that numbers are strings so libdbi is unable to use query results.
