[GNC] Weird MacOS UI issue with windows cutoff on bottom and right

It may not be relevant to this issue, but I have found the Monterey UI (12.6.2 on an M1) to be extremely unstable. (Basically, it’s the biggest pile of junk Apple has ever dumped on a Mac of mine.) I reboot at least every three or four days, and sometimes a couple of times a day, to fix UI problems, generally involving the refusal of some UI elements to accept keyboard input, but also some oddities in the display of UI elements.m Only rebooting fixes the problem.
