[GNC] gnucash on debian

Anne,
I don't have it available at the moment, but I recently spun up a vm
running Mint MATE and did some GnuCash testing in it.
GnuCash installed with zero difficulty.
(MATE *is* Gnome anyway, albeit using Gnome's old codebase kept alive.)
