Thanks, I have the preference accumulate splits on post  NOT set now.

I still need to use description, notes or memo setting to get anything from an invoice.  Does that mean I've not got the 
'consolidate splits on posting' unchecked?   I DO  have accumulate splits UNchecked, and that is all I see.

I'm using locally compiled Version: 5.1   Build ID: 5.1+(2023-04-30)


What is involved in creating a key binding like <ctrl>f such that the description, notes or memo pulldown is
already set?
