[GNC] Confusing version numbers

If these are updates, then perhaps instead of 4.1, 4.2... 4.9, 4.10, 4.11,
it would be better to use "u" ('update') and have 4u1, 4u2,... 4u9, 4u10,
4u11.

I tend to keep up with the updates, and use the latest version, but I can
see it being confusing.
