[GNC] Reporting Woes - Newbie incompetence

when you export give a <filename>.xls
you can then open it in excel, it will give an alert but you can override it

Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but how do you copy/paste the result into a spreadsheet.

My understanding is that the reports are HTML documents.  Perhaps there is some magic I am not aware of?
