[GNC] Error in Mutual Funds value

Hmmm, how are you downloading QFX format? Vanguard provides native CSV or
QIF formatted downloads only (different format than QFX) - all three types
needs to be imported but have to choose the correct drop down in the import
menu choices in the drop down. Of course you could be holding funds with a
third party financial marts, likes of Fidelity and Schwab, but in those
cases in most part importing QFX is known to work just fine. There is a
back-end way of getting QFX formatted transactions from Vanguard and that
also works fine when imported.
Something is definitely odd here if the file is downloaded from Vanguard
directly. Can you try to import QFX file in a new file with no accounts and
no securities/funds in it? It should prompt you to create funds account and
the holding accounts.

All of the transactions were entered manually. I did try to get the
transactions with a CVS and an QFX files but no transactions were found. I
went through all of the Mutual Funds in the pop ups. There were no results.
I checked the entries several times to make sure that the price data were
correct and the fund shares quantities matched. I also entered the data in a
spread sheet which confirmed the statements.
All the best
