you need to give more details on the GNU version and also the Finance quote version.  if you have not updated, you need to get the latest version where the yahoo issue is fixed

I was using yahoo_json and it started failing to return anything. I
switched my securities over to Alphavantage and it works. But it is an
order of magnitude slower.Any word on Yahoo?
