[GNC] Gnucash 5.4 process stays running after closing Gnucash

I've just upgraded from 4.14 to 5.4 on Windows 11 and have noticed that the
latest log file now remains open and locked even after closing the Gnucash
window (the file lock stops my OneDrive from synchronizing, which stops a
normal windows shutdown). Only the log file is locked: the gnucash accounts
data file is correctly closed. I didn't have this problem in 4.14.
Task manager and resource manager show that gnucash.exe is still running.
If I've started and stopped Gnucash more than once, there may be more than
one instance of gnucash.exe still running.
As a workaround, I can unlock the log file by terminating the gnucash task
or process.
Has anyone else experienced this? Any suggestions how to get Gnucash to
stop properly without having to go into task manager or resource manager?
