It would have been worse if it had been your bank. The CC is not your
money,
and it's likely it never was anyone else's either seeing as it is plucked
out of thin air these days.
A data breach can happen with any computerised account - or pen and ink,
come to that, so there is no need to be
wary of your CC. As has been mentioned, if you put your transactions into
GC as they occur you will always have the details to hand,
and don't let anyone know your login details, PIN etc., etc., you are
covered.
What's not to like?
