[GNC] When closing books, equity statement report is incorrect

I was closing books because otherwise I thought I couldn't see current
year's income and expense totals.

But, as Adrien taught me, if you just want a way to see the current
year's income or expense amounts, that's available in the Accounts
panel, in the "Total (Period)" column. You define the period in Edit »
Preferences » Accounting Period.

To make that column visible if it isn't, click the down arrow at the
right edge of the row of column headings, and select the columns you
want to see. You probably want to keep the "Total" column as well, to
show current balances for Assets, Liabilities, and Equity.
