[GNC] Start up error after install Mac OS 10.13.6

Trying to install Gnucash on an Imac running 10.13.6 as my old computer is showing signs of end of life. After downloading it and installing, I get a box of squares and it stops loading. This machine is running same OS as the other one and it worked fine on it. Can anyone help?
