[GNC] Confusing language of money direction in headers of Scheduled Transaction Editor Template Transaction

Yes, you need to correct your association, because you associate it
incorrectly.  A Debit is when value goes into an account, and a Credit is
when value leaves an account.  When you deposit cash into your bank, that
is a Debit to your Asset account!

You probably get it wrong because you're using the BANK'S side notation. 
To them, your account is a Liability, not an Asset -- so when you deposit
cash with them it Credits the Liability (therefore increasing the amount
they owe to you).

I recommend you read the GnuCash documentation which goes into great
detail about this.
