[GNC] Check & Repair

I've been having some reconciliation issues and thought the "check &
repair" function might identify any possible problems.

When I called that function from the "Actions" menu, nothing happened. Or
at least, there was no indication visible onscreen that the account's
transactions were being checked in any way.  Maybe the checking happens
behind the scenes, and the results are flagged only if there are any
problems.

Alternatively, maybe I'm not using this function correctly. Or maybe the
fact that I pulled an older backup datafile to experiment with?
