[GNC] blank reports

I just tried to start creating my year-end reports for my accountant for a 
business whose year has just ended, and they are all appearing as simply a 
black window :-( :-( :-( It seems to be just reports that have this problem; 
the normal Account windows all look fine.

Running debian, fully up-to-date. Gnucash from the official repository, 
version 4.13.

I've been doing this for at least a decade, probably a lot longer, and have 
never seen anything like this before. I don't even know where to start looking 
for what might be causing this issue.
