[GNC] Account Register not Populating

I don't know about this for sure (I guess it depends on the number of
transactions and the number of accounts); however, I have about 8 years of
data and my data file is 2.4M (I'm using the default - a compressed XML
file); your 136K size sounds like a blank new file to me.
"Bank" accounts should have headers of "Deposit, Withdrawal, and Balance"
(unless you are using formal accounting labels). It sounds like you were
looking at an Expense account -- they have headers of "Expense, Rebate, and
Balance"
Did they also copy over the auto backup files? If you main file is
"Robin.gnucash", they will look like "Robin.<timestamp>.gnucash" - are they
all about 136k also?
Did you have your own backups of the main file? Something definitely seems
wrong. I hope the store did a full backup of your old computer and that
they still have it.
