[GNC] Windows reboots, gnucash restart after auto save

What happens when I click File and then click the first one listed in
the most-recently-used list, which of course is the one currently open?
Will that cause the window geometry and related information to be saved
to the {name}.gcm file in the Books folder when GC closes the currently
reopened file and immediately reopens it?

If so, that might be a usable workaround even without any code changes.
