Thanks Brook, but one important question

Are there tax reasons to keep them apart?

I keep 4 sets of books because I need them separate for tax purposes,
although they are closely coupled and there are many transactions
between them in any month.

My accountant likes to see them kept apart, and all spending coming out
of the correct bank accounts.
