[GNC] Inactive/Hidden accounts

In the accounts tab right click on the account you want to hide, select
EDit Account in the popup menu and then check the Hidden checkbox.
to display multiple account registers in the Accounts tab of the main
window double click on the icon to the left of the account name and the
desired account should come up in a new tab.
