a) More fully describe what you want to happen. You want a warn, not a 
disallow, yes?

b) Properly just an enhancement request. Bugs are things that are wrong 
<not "some of us would want different behavior">

c) Things like this need to be discussed by a user group (volunteers) 
and not going straight to developers. The job of developers is to 
correctly implement what it has been decided a system is supposed to do, 
not to decide what it is supposed to do. Useful if that user's group has 
access to a "business analyst" to keep asking the group "what about this 
special case; what about that exception?" <<end users will not think 
about special cases and exceptions all by themselves>>

     In my working days, THIS phase (formal definition of what system is 
to do) was budgeted about 20% of total project people time.
