[GNC] Importing single transactions to separate deposits and withdrawals

GnuCash will handle this.  You just need to use the deposit or
withdrawal header applied to the column. For me deposit always worked
with my banks output but it may depend on whether your bank formats
debits or credits as positive numbers. Experiment with a shortened file
with only 1-2 transactions in it to work out what works with your
banks's format then once you have to you should be able to import the
rest.
