[GNC] How to setup a Scheduled Transaction for full current Credit Card Balance?

Can someone explain to me the objection to posted-in-advance
transactions (not merely scheduled)? I'm not trying to start an
argument, but I'm really curious.
I used to use scheduled transactions exclusively, but that didn't tell
me if the bill pays that I scheduled with my bank and credit cards would
overdraw my checking account. When I started entering a
posted-in-advance transaction every time I scheduled a bill pay, the
picture got much clearer. I do use Edit » Preferences » Register »
Future transaction after blank transaction, so it's always obvious which
transactions have been posted in advance.
I still use scheduled transactions for recurring automatic payments by
credit card, and for accrual entries at the end of the month, quarter,
and year.
