[GNC] gnucash-cli vs Get Quotes button

Hi all-

I have been using a custom price module for getting the prices of US Series
EE Savings Bonds that was written by Ken Farley for a number of years. I
just recently noticed that when I use the command gnucash-cli --quotes dump
USBonds EE-50-2007-01 -V I get an accurate response. When I click the Get
Quotes button from within the application, prices are loaded to the Price
Database.

But when I use the command gnucash-cli --quotes get
~/gnucash-files/general_ledger/general_ledger.gnucash, the savings bonds
prices are not written to the database.

gnucash-cli --log gnc.price-quotes=debug --logto=stderr --quotes get
/gnucash-files/general_ledger/general_ledger.gnucash shows no reference to
the securities with USBonds as the price source.

I'm using gnucash 5.11; Ubuntu 24.04.3 LTS, F::Q 1.62

The reason it matters is because I have a cron job that runs to load prices
Tues-Sat mornings to get current closing prices.
