[GNC] Two accounts with same name in same Trading account

Just guessing here, but can you open the last backup and get back to where you were before deleting one of the duplicated accounts.

Then, make a backup for safety's sake.

Then:
Change the name on one of the accounts.
Move all the transaction froms the account to be deleted to the other account.
Then delete the extra account.

The middle step is probably not needed, since it should ask you what to do with the transactions when you try to delete an account, but it can't hurt. The main point is to change the name so you don't have two accounts with the same name before trying to delete one of them.

As I said, just a guess,
Will

I tried to delete one of the OKE Trading accounts and move those
transactions to the other OKE Trading account.
That causes GnuCash 5.12 on Fedora Linux 41 to crash and produce a core
dump.
