[GNC] Unusual transactions

At a guess, you hit Enter after entering a debit or credit amount but
without entering an account. Enter commits a transaction.

Or maybe it's something to do with multiple currencies, if you're using
them.

I would suggest trying to delete them, but without more information that
might be a mistake.

That was never a rule. I use single-split transactions all the time, for
example when my credit-card statement balance is zero, so I don't wonder
later why I can't find a transaction paying that month's bill.
