[GNC] GC reconcile window problems

Thank you, Jim - I appreciate your willingness to help. I'll certainly review section 2.9.4; even with nine years of GC accounts and thousands of reconciliations over those years it's always a good idea to review the basics. Also, I can see that including my troubleshooting steps, and especially using the wrong terms, I introduced ambivalence into a rather simply-described problem.

This latter is indeed the case. If the Register has nine transactions that need to be reconciled, the Reconcile window shows only four. If there are three transactions that need to be reconciled, the Reconcile window shows three. This issue is not just limited to one account but affects all my accounts.
