[GNC] How to Enter a Scheduled Transaction once the Date has Passed?

Tom,

The scheduled transactions are only evaluated by the Since Last Run 'Druid'
or assistant. That, by default, runs when GnuCash opens the data file. I
looked under Edit > Preferences > Scheduled Transactions and unchecked the
option to 'Run when data file opened' and checked the next two options.
The Since Last Run Druid can also be run manually under Actions >
Scheduled Transactions > Since Last Run... Read the Help manual
chapter 8.2. “Since Last Run” Assistant to learn how that works. It always
evaluates the entire list but it gives the user a chance to modify the
specific action for each transaction before it completes the process.
