[GNC] How to Enter a Scheduled Transaction once the Date has Passed?

Tom,

The value column appears when a scheduled transaction has a variable  which
the user needs to assign a value to.  An example is a stock purchase or
sale, which would require a price per share. There are other cases where
variables can come into play.

I am not at my computer right now so I can't read the help,  but I thought
some of that was covered. At least there used to be something about
mortgage equations,  maybe in the GnuCash faq's.

The Since Last Run assistant will not continue unless a value is manually
entered.  If you accidentally forget to enter a value,  it will force you
to go back and fill it in, except it just goes to the beginning of the list
and you have to manually scroll down to the transaction with the
missing information. That is a pain that I wish they would fix.

If you don't know the correct value,  you can enter a guesstimate.   For
those cases I include a guessed value in the name of the transaction as a
hint, but that's just me.
