[GNC] GNU Cash faiuls to sart following update from V12 to V14

Hi,

I am using a Geekomp A7 with AMD CPU. I updtaed from V12 to V14, taking 
all the default options. When I tried to run GNU Cash I got the 
following message:

Error 0x800705aa

Procedure entry point clock_gettime32 could not be located in the 
dynamic link library c:\program 
files\Gaede\Business\gnucash\bin\libstdc++-6.dll. (The part of the path 
to Business is the directory where I have installed GNU Cash). I have 
not had problems before installing by the method used.

I have tried reinstalling, running sfc, and system restore, all to no avail.

Secondary question: will installing V5.12 over the 5.14 rectify the 
problem? Alternatively if I uninstall 5.14, then install afresh v5.12, 
will I lose all my settings?
