[GNC] Gnucash download insufficient permissions

Barrym,

Check the archives - this is probably the message in question -

Avast has probably quarantined your downloaded install file and you
probably need to tell Avast that it's safe to install or go into Avast
and release it from quarantine so you can install it ?
