[GNC] GnuCash 5.1 not reflecting dark mode of Ubuntu 24.04

I've spent about 8 hours sifting though posts and have yet to find anything that works. I think it is time to cut my losses and research how to convert GnuCash back to the previous version with the dark mode working. My old eyes can't take the glare.
