And even the same stock number, the next box of windows envelopes might 
not EXACTLY match. Back in my working days, dealt with that a lot. Do 
NOT try to do alignment directly in the program. Have the program print 
to a file used as input to a small "editing" program. THAT is where you 
handle the "move line up a mm".

Then when a change is needed, only THAT program needs to be tested.
