[GNC] Log File?

Perhaps more to the point. The session saves (log file and back-up) are 
put into the same directory (file folder) as you have the data file 
(your books)

WHY is that location your desktop. Your desktop should be occupied by 
SHORTCUTS (icons) pointing to applications and data. But not the data 
itself. That would best be in directories (file folders) like 
"documents", etc.

<< This is not specific to gnucash ---- unless you have very little data 
on your computer shouldn't be on the desktop >>
