[GNC] GnuCash 5.12 not running on MacOS

It sounds like you downloaded the wrong version - for Macs, there is an
"Intel" version that supports the older Macs that used Intel chips. Apple
change to the "Apple Silicon" in 2020 - in the "About This Mac", the
Silicon chips show up as "Apple Mx", where 'x' is a number (1, 2, 3, or 4).
You need to downnload the Silicon version, not the Intel version (unless
your computer is older and uses an Intel chip)
