[GNC] printing blank checks

I create my own checks using MS Word. I also created a excel table with numbers sequentially to be used to merge the check numbers into blank checks.
Magnetic ink is not needed. Routing/Transit and Account number must be included using a font. Search "fonts for checks". I use font identified as GNUMicr-03.
Routing-Transit and Account numbers must be present. Those numbers are bounded by specific characters.
Once you have created a check. Make a check payable to yourself and take it to the bank. If the check is accepted and clears, you are good to go.

Judging by the number of services that will accept the data to then let
the user print a check on plain paper at home, I suspect the magnetic
ink is no longer required.

I've been thinking of getting check stock that has one check per US
Letter sheet. I'm sure all the major check printers offer them, I just
need to look at the company my bank uses.
