[GNC] Mortgage with daily applied interest

Well, handling it as a split is easy -- your mortgage holder should provide
the balance due after each payment, so the "payment" comes out of a bank
account (presumably), and you'd have split #1: principal (old balance - new
balance); split #2 [optional] escrow payment; split #3 - remaining amount
is interest.
>From subsequent posts, it looks like the attempt is automating it. In such
situations, I created a monthly scheduled transactions with something like
"ADJUST THE INTEREST" in the Notes field, which reminds me to correct the
entry, and then I erase the Notes field. It's not automated, but it's close.
