[GNC] Blank reports GnuCash 5.10

I just upgraded my workstation to Debian trixie, which comes with 
GnuCash 5.10. Everything works except the reports. They are blank, both 
stock reports and saved custom reports. It is possible to edit them and 
save the edits, but there is nothing to show for it but an empty screen.

I reported this to the Debian maintainer via the bug tracking system, 
but before I file a gnucash bug, has anyone seen this, and if so has 
anyone found the reason or a solution?
