Brad,
Take a look at the list archives, why don't you?
You'll see that over the years, many of the sources that F::Q has used have been problematic. Yahoo!, AlphaVantage, and others that I'm forgetting all have broken at one time or another, some permanently.
F::Q as a web scraper has had to adjust to changes that the providers make to their sites, and the F::Q team has worked valiantly over the years to keep it working for users.
