A little more research, from searching it looks like Perl's LWP 
(libwww-perl) does not yet support HTTP2 
(https://github.com/libwww-perl/libwww-perl/issues/346). I'm even more 
inclined to nuke the Tiaa-Cref module and have one less mole to whack. 
But volunteers are always welcome. Maybe taking a look at Protocol::HTTP2?
