[GNC] Enhancement Request

In looking thru some of the old messages in gnucash-user, I see many requests similar to what I want.  I want to add an extra field in every account register.  I would not expect gnucash to use it in any way, other than allow input, show whatever is entered, save it, and include it in import/export.



I see that some people want something to record posting date, and other items.



My need for it is different than most I read in the old messages.  I am treasurer for a youth exchange program.  We have income and expenses that come in anywhere in a three year term.  Students applying to go on exchange, with income and associated expenses like insurance and airfare; students spending a year here, with expenses for events; and students returning from their year abroad, with expenses for events.  So I would use this field to indicate what year the entry was for, outbounds, inbounds, and rebounds.



Alternatively, if I could add to the list of "actions", I would use that existing field to flag this.
