[GNC] How to Generate TXF Report for Parent Accounts?

In regards to the first part, I think there is a way to have a child account do up to its parent, but I could be mixing sections of GnuCash up. 

On the second part, the report options include a setting to show totals only. I've actually saved that report as a custom report with that one change, since I rarely want to see detail in the TXF report.
