[GNC] Gnucash after factory reset

Hi

If i understand you correctly you have not just backed up Gnucash but the entire drive. 

I do not know what OS you use but you will need to put the drive into a case or other machine to make it live, connect it to your restored machine (usb?) and use a disk utility or utilities to locate and copy across the data you need. 

How IT savvy are you?  If you backed it up you must have adequate equipment to get it sorted.
