Hello GTI

Try: Reports -> Assets & Liabilities -> Advanced Portfolio.

It shows % capital gain/loss plus % return (including any 
dividends/distributions).


For time based reporting you could use this report and copy/paste the 
data to a spreadsheet:

Reports -> Assets & Liabilities -> Balance Sheet (Multicolumn)
