[GNC] Reported negative stock balance preventing Report generation

I fear I am going around in circles.

Since beginning with GnuCash in June 2024, I have learned a great deal
about how to manipulate the program to represent my financial situation
accurately.

I have a list of stock/shares across 3 different Registries (companies
managing stock/shares) here in Australia.

I have entered my holdings manually and also by using Stock Assistant.

I have two reports that I use - the Investment default report from GNUcash
and a manually created (not a default report in GNUcash, if I remember
correctly), I call Advanced Portfolio.
The report parameters for Advanced Portfolio are:
1) Accounts - All investments listed under the 3 registries, including
Mutual Funds and Stock/Shares
2) Display - show ticker, listing, total shares, 3 decimal places, prices
3) General - Date: today, Currency: AUD, price source nearest to report
date, basis calc - average all shares, set preference for price list
ticked, Include brokerage fees in basis.

I use this Portfolio Report in conjunction with the default GNUcash
Investment report, and have done so from the start (June 2024) with no
issue/problem, quite successfully.

Recently, there have been some movements (buys and sells), which I have
tracked using the Consignment Note (C/N) issued by my stockbroker.

The C/N shows the number of units, price per unit and total for the
transaction. Brokerage fees and GST are added as separate values as a
subtotal on the C/N. I insert the unit total value against the stock line,
and the total of the C/N, including Fee/GST, is the amount against my cash
account.

I now have an error report on my manual Advanced Portfolio report stating -
"There is an error processing the transaction 'buying .0300 share units'.
This may be caused by a sell transaction causing a negative stock balance,
and a subsequent buy transaction causing a zero balance. This leads to a
division-by-zero error. It can be fixed by preventing negative stock
balances."

My two questions:
a) How do I locate this "buying .0300 share units" in my investments?

I have examined my entire list of investments and focused on the recent
changes and see no such value of .0300 share units. I believe such an error
would show in the Account list/Investment section, as I have seen negative
stock/share amounts in the past that I have corrected and which have
disappeared from the Account list/Investment section after the correction.

b) How do I manipulate my Advanced Portfolio parameters to ignore this
'condition' so I can see the other investments?

Thank you,
Megan in Australia
